As a board-certified family medicine physician with a deep commitment to patient centered care, I founded this boutique practice to bring healthcare back to what it was always meant to be: personal, thoughtful, and rooted in relationships.
Here, medicine is not just about managing symptoms—it's about uncovering the causes of illness and empowering you to live your healthiest, most vibrant life. My approach is grounded in the pillars of Lifestyle Medicine—evidence-based strategies that emphasize the power of nutrition, physical activity, restorative sleep, stress management, meaningful connection, and avoidance of harmful substances.
In this practice, we slow things down. We take the time to understand your story, your values, your fears and goals. Whether you're navigating chronic illness, seeking preventive care, or simply want to feel better in your body and mind, our partnership is built on trust, collaboration, and shared commitment to sustainable well-being.
Welcome to care that listens. Welcome to care that heals. Welcome to care that transforms.
— Dr. Elfy Payero-Gonzalez
We are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care building lasting relationships with our patients for better health outcomes.
We are experienced and compassionate individuals dedicated to your health. Each team member brings a unique set of skills to ensure you receive the highest quality of care.
At Payero Family Medicine, we offer a wide range of healthcare services for patients age 18 + including primary care, sick visits, preventative medicine, supervised weight loss, longevity care, menopause support and andropause care.
Personalized, Root-Cause Care
At our clinic, you’re not just another chart number. We take time to understand your full health story and look beyond symptoms to identify and treat causes. Our care is personalized, thoughtful, and designed to meet your unique needs—not just today, but for long-term wellness.
Medicine at the Core
I believe that small, sustainable lifestyle changes can lead to powerful health outcomes. From nutrition and movement to stress and sleep, we use the six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine as a foundation to help prevent and manage chronic conditions—without over-relying on prescriptions.
More Time, More Access, More You
In a boutique setting, you’ll get access to your physician and a care plan built with you—not for you. We limit the number of patients we see so we can offer a higher level of attention, education, and support.
A Partnership in Wellness
We see our relationship with each patient as a partnership. You bring your experiences, goals, and hopes—and we bring the medical expertise and guidance to support you every step of the way. Together, we work toward lasting, meaningful change.
Prevention, Not Just Reaction
Our goal is to help you thrive, not just survive. Whether you're managing a chronic illness or looking to stay ahead of future health concerns, we focus on prevention, early intervention, and strategies that promote lifelong vitality.
At our clinic, we offer a full spectrum of personalized services to support your health at every stage of life. From annual physicals and preventive care to women’s health services like PAP smears and GYN exams, our focus is on keeping you well.
We specialize in chronic condition management, including high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, COPD, heart failure, thyroid disorders, HIV, and hepatitis C. We also offer support for menopause, andropause, and low testosterone.
Need care quickly? We provide same-day sick visits and on-site testing for COVID-19, flu, strep, pregnancy, urinalysis, and EKG. We also perform minor procedures such as trigger point injections, skin biopsies, and laceration repair.
Whether you're managing a condition or simply staying ahead of your health, we're here with compassionate, comprehensive care—tailored to you.

Family medicine is a specialty focused on comprehensive, long-term care for individuals across all stages of life. At our clinic, we provide family medicine care exclusively for adults, addressing preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness through a personalized, whole-person approach.
Menopause is a natural phase in a woman’s life, marking the end of menstrual cycles, typically occurring around age 45–55. It's diagnosed after 12 consecutive months without a period.
Perimenopause is the transitional stage leading up to menopause. During this time, hormone levels fluctuate, and symptoms like irregular periods, hot flashes, and mood changes may begin. This stage can last several years.
Post-menopause refers to the time after a woman has not had a period for 12 months. Although symptoms may lessen, hormonal changes continue, and health risks such as osteoporosis and heart disease may increase.
Andropause, sometimes called "male menopause," refers to the gradual decline in testosterone levels in aging men. It may cause fatigue, mood changes, reduced libido, and decreased muscle mass. We offer evaluations and treatment options to support men during this transition.
